This new work (completed in Oct. '09) was inspired by Mike Burkleo's wonderful jade knives and blades, and I intended to create a sculptural piece that felt like and extension of you when you wraped your fingers around the ergonomically shaped handle.
Most often the comment people would make holding the dagger in their hand, is that it gives them a sense of power.

I am planning to create a similar design dagger with the handle carved out of jade with gold claws and a custom hand forged Damascus blade.
